Curriculum
Curriculum
At The Willow School, we believe that every child has unique needs and learning styles. That’s why we practice the Montessori method, which fosters independent learning and hands-on experiences. We provide a comprehensive Montessori curriculum that empowers children to develop their full potential. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a caring and stimulating environment for every child. Our curriculum includes practical life exercises, sensorial activities, language and math materials, cultural studies, and outdoor exploration.
Cultural Studies
Our cultural studies program is integrated into the curriculum, exposing children to different languages, customs, traditions, and cuisines.
Sensorial
Our Montessori curriculum is founded on the principles of hands-on learning and the integration of the five senses into the learning process. Our sensory lessons are designed to help children develop sensory perception and fine motor skills through tactile and visual experiences. This approach to education fosters a love of learning and encourages children to explore the world around them with an inquisitive mind.
Movement
We understand that children need to move and be active in order to learn and develop. Our movement program includes indoor and outdoor activities that promote gross and fine motor development, coordination, and balance.
Language
We believe that language is the key to communication and understanding. Our language program includes phonics, reading, writing, and oral expression in English and Spanish.
Mathematics
Mathematics is an essential part of our curriculum, and we provide children with hands-on materials and activities that help them develop their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
